Holy Crap! Cheap and Fresh? A must visit!. Nana's Bakery is so hidden, that I bet you've never heard of it. Although there are a few Mexican bakeries in town, this place is the closest to me, so we had to visit here.
The inside is nothing special, but the display cases show you the treasures within. Their selection is fantastic and the taste of their baked goods are just as much.
I think the main draw to a Mexican Bakery over a traditional one is that their sweets tend to be less sweet. I'm the kind of guy that will scrape excess icing off of a cake just because too much sugar makes me feel not well.
But check out their large selection of Empanadas (Cherry, Apple, Pineapple, Cream Cheese and Pumpkin) on top of their doughnuts, Mexican version of struedel and so on. Each and every one is so good! You can also buy odds and ends like Menudo-supplies, Pinatas, bulk Flan, specialty cakes, Tamales and even pork green/red chile on certain days. The family that runs it is so nice and friendly too.
Oh, and did I forget to mention that about 9 baked goods and a 1/2 pint of flan rang up under $8?
So good the tresleches cake is amazing so were the rest of the treats we got and the tamales ❤️ the people r so super nice I will definitely be back
Picked up some delicious bread from Nana’s Bakery today. We have purchase from them before and their bread is always fresh and delicious. Not to mention their staff is very welcoming.
Today I picked up a larger order for an event and they even helped me out to my car with my order.
Definitely recommend you giving them a try.
